So I have finally pulled the trigger on Traveller. I have always had a love of the Traveller system but have never had a consistent group that was in to Sci-Fi RPG's. Most players default to the common Fantasy game systems. I now have two groups that will be playing in my Traveller game on a consistent basis.
The Grognard group created characters and ship this last Saturday. Much fun was had by all and I am looking forward to the first official game.
My Youngling group has not confirmed that the trigger will be pulled on starting the Traveller game, switching over from Stars Without Number (Traveller light, IMO). I am hoping to get an answer from them soon, otherwise the SWN game will continue until 6/25/2021, another ten sessions.
I have set up my Roll20 page for the game and with the plethora of available content, it looks sharp.

And, yes, I have abandoned making my own game system. I would rather focus on creating a good, immersive rpg game for my players, and Traveller scratches my longest running itch.
I cannot say more good things about Mongoose Traveller 2nd Ed. Please check it out. If you purchase the books directly from Mongoose you will also receive the PDF, free of charge. My ADD would like it to be that they give me access to the PDF on my Drive Thru RPG account so that all of my digital content is in one place, but I will adjust.
